I wnat to take this moment to thank some who name I saddly can't remember for their kind guesture that make me realizes that maybe just one day I mgiht want to be a police officer. I know where as I am stuyding criminal justice this is still something I never thought I would say. At the time I saying because of this one member of the highway patrol officer did for me last nigth. We all have have a flate. I my self know how much one can hate that. Well that just what happened last night.
See and bf and a good friend of mine when to the ducks game lasts night. Which on side note i have to say was fun despite the fact that if duck fan you saw the ducks lose to stars. Honestly though this post is not baout the game but about what happened after the game. On my way home droping of my good friend my front driver side wheel blow a flate.
I know must would just call a friend or pull out their AAA. Well I didn't have one and as friend well that did have. But before he did get chance to make out as a last dick effort to find away to switch the tire to the spare. My one good friend call 911 to see if they could not call out an officer have them help us change the trie. We stuck on the side of the high way.
Well The officer like said who name I ca't remember but wish I could because I wish to thank him in way that I know he can accept and that is trule fitting. I guess you could say that's why I am writting this. He arrived not only with a wretch and tire rion but jack to that could be used to stwich the tire on my car.
I want to thank him for this one kind guesture that made realize just how importnat community policing is. How it can enstill trust in the those who are asked to polic our citie. Because act what he did is apart of community policing.
Community simply means being apart of the community. This one such way the polic force make them avaiable to us the public citzen so we can learn that was can trust them because they help us in our hour need.I know to some officers a call like this might be annoying but laso chance that person who makes this calls might die. Helpping them with the tire enstill trust.
This act that make one feel they have debit to repay as I do. One that I would repay with way my one good friend wanted to do. Which I feel is simply an insult and now as look back I should have said some thing to him before he went to give the offiver twenty just to say thnak you.
I say because as police offficer one can't accept such offer for some thing they would do for any one. This also could be consider as bire. Even thoguh my friend only meant to be kind to the officer and say thnak you to him. I on the other hand think this is much better way to thank him. because how many of would think to call the police? I'm not one would do this just because simply we are not taught to trust police officer. we are taught to hate them or fear them most of the time.
These emotions do not enstill trust in those who only mean the best for us because they wish to protect us. So it why they do things like this so we might trust them. So in turn we might tell them when we seeing some murdering another person. Instead of keepping our mouths shut because we fear if we do say some thing the kill will find away to escape jail or pirson and kill us. I know this might sound so what exosteam but sure this happens lot. it porbably why these some much crime these days.
Still I like finish by saying that I wish they did this more often. I sure the do but usually it during peak hours on the high way that they offer road side assit. because they jsut don't want any one to get while there are the highy way when on is in need. because when criminals can do take advantage of poeple. And I glad for his help and for him making sure I was safe and able to drive by home. So I want to say on last time thank to highway patrol and think to the one officer who came to help me in my hour of need.
